The spa was nice, but the pool (which is also part of the spa) is the only thing children are allowed in so naturally it was a bit crowded in the pool. Other than that the spa was a nice extra.
We went around Christmas time so they also had very nice decorations spread throughout the hotel! And the next morning it was snowing so we woke up with a nice view.

Well, it's been better
But this year it is an absolute disaster and I am deeply disappointed with the hotel. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to an “apartment” room due to my status.
When I arrived in the room, the heating was turned off, although the outside temperature was icy (-3°). I turned the heat up to the highest level, but do you think a 60 m2 apartment will warm up within a few hours? It was extremely cold and it was not pleasant to stay in the apartment. Also the heating in the bathroom was set to 5 and lukewarm, as was the water in the shower in the morning.
For an aperitif at the “Eagle Bar”, it’s hard to believe it was so cold that even the people next to us asked the waitress to turn off the air conditioning, she said it wasn’t the air conditioning, but the windows that were old and leaking. It was quite audacious to do this to the guest, and in the evening guests were still eating there! We did not eat there because the menu did not suit us.
As mentioned earlier, the surrounding communities banned fireworks, but around 12:20 a.m. guests lit fireworks outside the hotel! Why aren’t guests advised that this is “STRICTLY FORBIDDEN” when checking in or on the hotel’s homepage? The hotel has no control over many things.
In the morning at breakfast it is a disaster, no one has come to ask me for my room number, the organization is almost zero, there is no butter, not even cheese (Emmentaler or Gouda), no rolls, just baguette, old brown bananas with a few clementines. For the price of breakfast I expect a different buffet.

First of all, we would like to thank you for your loyalty to our establishment and for taking the time to share this comprehensive feedback. We are very sorry that your last New Year's Eve stay did not go smoothly.
We would like to apologize for the temperature of the apartment on your arrival. We recognize that we should have anticipated and heated the apartment prior to your arrival. We sincerely regret this oversight and assure you that measures have been taken to avoid a recurrence.
Regarding the water and bar temperatures, we did indeed encounter an unexpected boiler problem during New Year's Eve. Our technicians did their utmost to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible, but we understand that this affected your comfort. We also apologize for the awkward response given by the waitress. She had not yet been informed of the boiler problem and her comments may have been inappropriate.
As for the fireworks, we understand your frustration. However, as you mention, the surrounding communes do indeed ban fireworks, and this regulation also applies to our establishment. What happens in the public parking lot near the hotel or outside our property is unfortunately beyond our control. We are not responsible for the behavior of individual guests, although we strongly encourage them to respect the rules.
As for the presence of our manager or assistant manager in the middle of the night, we understand your comment, but unfortunately their presence at that precise moment could not have influenced the situation related to the fireworks.
We also regret your experience at breakfast. The high number of guests that day meant that replenishment of the buffets was slower than usual. We are sorry that you arrived during this restocking period. We will do our utmost to improve our processes to avoid this inconvenience during busy periods.
Finally, we apologize for the billing problem at check-out.

Nice place to stay.
You only notice that the personal touch is a bit wrong, it is a member of a mega-chain and you will notice that. However, it is not the cheapest hotel.
It does exude a relaxed atmosphere.

Perfect for a relaxing stay
The privilege room on the first floor was big and in very good shape, with windows opening directly on the course. Only thing: toilet was in the bathroom, not separate.
Excellent heated indoor swimming pool, bubble bad, sauna etc.. without additional cost.
Electric charging points on site.
Just for golfers: the course is a beauty !
