Very nice (and spacious - by tokyo standards) hotel!! We had a balcony view of the mountain and the golf course. I didn't read the description and was pleasantly surprised that there was an onsen (must pay 150 yen usage fee per person). It was a really nice onsen too. It was raining the day that we got there and it made the outdoor onsen just magical with the rain in the backdrop. However, they do not allow tattooed guests into the onsen so foreigners, please be aware. The room was nice and gave old timey feels. I appreciated the big, long couch too. One drawback was that there was no microwave in the whole building :( But overall, would come back. It's a 10 minute walk from the T Tozan bus (so you can get there pretty quickly from the Togendai bus/ropeway station. The Lawson is right there next to the bus stop too (we got to go while the Evangelion collab was going on). The hotel has a free shuttle bus to various locations too so I would inquire about those upon check-in since those have to be booked the day before, but if you have the Hakone free pass and don't mind walking, it's pretty accessible via the Tozan bus lines

The room really gives off older Japan vibes. There are steps separating the bathroom from the rest of the room so maybe inquire about that beforehand if accessibility is an issue

It was quiet and the staff was wonderful. The food in-house was very expensive but not worth the price.
The views are stunning and the property is pretty if a little dated.

Bad experience with the front desk and the manager won't care to meet us.

The hotel facility is good. Clean and well maintained. Staff are not well trained in English.
When we got there, we found out that the rooms have several steps to go down into. It was difficult for 70 years old man to carry all his luggages down to the bedroom. We requested a room with flat floor so we don't have to carry our luggages down. We waited for the manager but he refused to come out to speak with us. The staff finally took us around to find several rooms but then find out either they were booked (which they could have known) without taking us for one hour. Finally we have to settle for a different room also with steps. This time, the staff took my luggages down the steps.
My complaint was that the manager should be courteous enough to come greet us and explain to us. It was a bad experience.

Beautiful Mountain View, My cousin tried the Onsen and he loved it, restaurants are near by however most restaurants here close around 5 or 6 pm, hotel staff was very helpful in accommodating our needs and even calling us a taxi to the train station

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is inside a golf course, therefore the view was amazing. They also have free onsen for residents to enjoy
