First stage Interrail

I stayed for one night in early August with friends at this property. We had booked a quadruple, but on our arrival the manager very kindly proposed we split into two rooms so as to be more comfortable. The rooms are a bit retro, but are very large, functional and clean. The only "flaw" the outside private bathroom that for a personal preference I do not like very much, but still very clean and equipped with towels. We also had breakfast included and upon our arrival we were explained everything about how to restock.
The location is great, behind the station, and although it is located on the main street, being on the 30th floor, you do not hear the noise of cars.

Perfect accommodation

I stayed there only one night, but I enjoyed very much staying there. The owner was very kind and welcoming. My room, called Nizza, was very spacious and comfortable, elegantly furnished and equipped with every comfort. The toilet was shared with another room, but I didn’t have big problems. It was spacious, furnished in a modern style and always clean. The breakfast was included. It’s possible to have it also in the early morning because it’s prepared the evening before. I could also leave my luggage for free for some hours in the morning after the check-out. This accommodation is very close to the train station and to the bus stop (1 minute walking) and not far also from the bus terminus in Vinciprova street (9 minutes walking).

Tastefully Decorated

Paola is a great host! The place is impeccable, mixing great Victorian pieces with an ultra modern bathroom and is near the dock and train station. We arrived on our touring bikes and Paola made a phone call to let us store them locked in an empty apartment on the 2nd floor. She also did our laundry (the washer is in the kitchen) for a few Euro. There are 3 rooms in the apartment with a shared kitchen where you could cook or consume anything in the fridge. The lemon tea was particularly good, especially after our bike ride and the high temperatures of Salerno.
Paola stocks the fridge daily and makes your breakfast basket. That was the only major drawback with the place. The breakfast. It was just some pre-packaged sweets in their plastic wrappers. You also had to make your own coffee and it was kind of difficult for us Americans who aren't used to using the various coffee/espresso machines in Italy. Since the breakfast was awful, we decided to eat at Puro the following morning. Puro has awesome croissants, btw. Anyway, if I were Paolo, I would either get rid of the breakfast altogether or spruce it up. It's bringing an otherwise great establishment. I still give it an excellent rating despite this wart.
P.S. The bathrooms are not ensuite. They are directly across from the rooms. The room we had was not a shared bath but the other rooms were.
P.S.S. The wifi signal isn't great in the rooms even though the router is just outside in the hallway. I ended up sitting in the dining room table to surf.

Il palazzo esternamente non rende giustizia all appartamento
Tutto molto bello di gusto ma soprattutto pulito e rustrutturato
La signora Paola e il sig Massimo molto gentili.
Ha una bella vista sul mare e un ottima posizione vicino alla stazione.
Colazione abbondante
L unica pecca secondo me, ma importante, sono le finestre che non isolano minimamente dai rumori della strada principale su cui si affacciano le camere, i rumori sono forti, io personalmente non ho dormito nulla
Stare per più giorni sarebbe per me impossibile consiglio ai proprietari di cambiare gli infissi, il sonno e il riposo è una parte fondamentale di una vacanza
Se non fosse stato per questo l appartamento è perfetto ed elegante.

Da monopoli a salerno

Camere bellissime pulite un servizio impeccabile colazione buonissima ci ritornerò. la proprietaria simpaticissima e disponibile il beb e situato in centro comodo per chi vuole visitare le luminarie il porto e a due passi per il traghetto per visitare la costiera amalflitana
