Good location and great value for money.

Good location, easily accessible on foot from the station, and convenient to get around Pisa on foot.
Possibility of parking nearby (blue zone).
Comfortable, quiet, practical rooms.
Hearty breakfast buffet.
I have been here several times and I point out the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff met.

Lovely hotel

We stayed 1 night in Hotel Minerva after flying into Pisa late night . We walked from the airport which was around 20 mins and felt safe as the streets were well lit and busy.
Our room was simple but had everything we needed. The air con was excellent.
The star of the show is definitely the breakfast. Breakfast was included and We were able to sit out in the garden whilst enjoying a continental breakfast. The staff were lovely and coffees were freshly prepared for you. Lots of choice and a lovely start to the day.

Correct

Hotel that doesn't look like much, a little old but pleasant and clean. Located 20 minutes walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Very pleasant and smiling staff. Decent breakfast. Easy parking nearby. Not far from a street with restaurants, we recommend the Martino pizzeria just 3 minutes walk away

Useful position but not a good experience

Sadly not a good experience. We needed just an overnight stay in Pisa and this hotel is easily walkable from the main Pisa train station with cases. There is no lift at the hotel so we took our cases up the stairs to our 2nd floor room. First we noticed that one shutter was secured open and there was no way to reach and close it. The bathroom has a plastic folding door which makes a noise. Water didn't run away from the basin properly. The toilet has an old high cistern and the strange flush makes a racket. There is a window in the shower with rotting wood on the frame which is unacceptable. Still the bed was fine and we thought oh well at least it's all clean. Sadly when I dropped something and we looked under the bed I found several large pieces of fluff and dirt. 2 friendly cleaners greeted us in the corridor - don't they clean under the bed? It's a noisy laminate floor which needs doing daily.
The breakfast was ok and they were helpful. I think they were amazed when I said the room was not up to standard. It all needs dating I'm afraid.

Rooms VERY outdated bedding old and room smelt so badly had to open window all of the time
Smokers room I’m thinking?
Whole place needs renovating
Breakfast ok lady nice
Lots of old pictures and curtains covering windows was all a bit creepy
20 mins from train station
30 mins from tower not much going on stay elsewhere
