Excellent service, food, and amenities in this family run Tyrolean hotel
Everything is very clean and there are thoughtful touches like a tea service and kettle outside the steam room, a ready basket of local apples, and to our delight a friendly young Bernese mountain dog whose residence was just outside the picture walls of our dining area and provided much entertainment.
The hotel provides an abundant buffet breakfast with wonderful fresh and dried fruits and granola , baked goods, hot food, and specialty coffee service. For our package we had half board which included a full service multi course dinner every night; we made our selections on a menu before we left in the morning. I enjoyed this regional food, almost all of it was new to me. It is more Austrian than Italian as that is the heritage of the Tyrol region.
We really enjoyed having this as a base hotel for our hiking tours and I would enjoy coming back if I had a chance to. It is very authentic to the area, and the family and staff are so friendly.

A great discovery!
Very clean rooms and hotels with beautiful mountain views, all in typical style. There are saunas and heated swimming pool. We particularly enjoyed the food (half board) with breakfast and very plentiful buffet appetizer with typical dishes and not. Suitable for both couples and families, helpful and friendly staff. Absolutely recommended!

WE HAVE TO GO THERE AGAIN!
You can relax wonderfully in the hotel's indoor pool - undisturbed by other guests because it is mostly empty - and undisturbed by the smell of chlorine because the hotel uses ozone to treat the water.
Dinner at the hotel is delicious and inexpensive. The breakfast is also amazing, with a large buffet and freshly prepared eggs. I have never eaten bread as good as at the Kirchenwirt, and even with the butter and cream you can tell that the hotel has the best local suppliers.
In summary: we have to go there again. We'll be back!
