Family meal July 2024
The plates are well stocked, the dishes well cooked.
Dessert slightly set back from the starter and main course.
Very welcome upon arrival and throughout the meal.
Nice setting at the foot of the neck of the beal.

Go on your way.
While passing through the region, we randomly chose this establishment in the guide. But what a mistake!
It is inconceivable in 2023 in a three-star establishment (which nevertheless has the criteria on paper) and in a room at €86:
1/ to charge €4 extra to have air conditioning in the room otherwise it would be impossible to sleep with the windows and shutters open due to the passage of many vehicles late in the evening and early in the morning. For your information, this supplement is indicated very discreetly in a sign (which no one generally reads before entering) outside the hotel next to the indication, this time in a large "Air-conditioned establishment" (sic) and also on the website which we do not consult when we are passing by by car.
2/ to threaten customers with paying a €3 fine if they forget to turn off the light if they are not in the room (savings when you have us)
3/ to have the mini-bar not connected and empty therefore unusable. ())Re-savings
4/ 1 wall/light out of 2 functional. (Again and always savings)
5/ A safe simply placed on the cupboard and without instructions, also unusable.
6/ a simple plastic curtain in the shower. Yuck.
7/ to put posters "it's not Versailles here" on the light switches (it's probably humor but... see the relevant opinion from bizbeez)
8/ no longer take orders at the restaurant after 7:30 p.m.
9/ to complain loudly and clearly in the room, in front of customers, about their heavy electricity bills, criticize current government measures, expose their political opinions and their extremist voting intentions. All this cannot be done in a 3-star establishment worthy of the name.
10/ to close the establishment at 9 p.m., impose narrow and very early time limits for breakfast and ask to leave the room before 10 a.m. (rarely seen in the hotel industry)
Apart from all these inconveniences, the food is good, the boss is friendly and discreet (unlike "the boss")
The à la carte menu is however a little expensive for the region, probably to cover the electricity bill (humor)
Following this notice we expect to have an incisive and acerbic response, as usual, from management.
We will be criticized for not having reported the defects in the room when leaving, but the verification and maintenance of the establishment is not the responsibility of the customers. As for opinions, positive or not, they are made to be disseminated.
Even if not all truths are good to hear, you have to know how to listen to them and take them into account, especially if you want to keep these famous 3 stars that take a long time to acquire but are quickly lost.
To the wise....
A word of advice: there are better and cheaper places a few kilometers around.

vos propos Monsieur n'engagent que vous car toutes les infos sont indiquées à l'extérieur comme sur les livret d'accueil en chambre.et n'irait pas plus loin dans ma réponse .
