The overall experince was great. I have one complaint during our stay. We arrived during a storm so parking was pretty much taken up, most likely due to patrons going to the restaurant onsite. I guess my problem is why are there not designated parking for people who pay to stay overnight or multiple overnights! We checked in and advised the person at the desk and she basically said I have no ideavwhere you can park. Unexceptible, especially when you have customers who paid to stay over night and most likley have driven from out of state only to be told upon arrival "i dont know where you can park" i highly recommend desinated parking for overnight stays.

Happy Thanksgiving, NOT.

We called in October and made reservations for a Thanksgiving Dinner at the 2pm seating. We wound up having snow today. Could not reach the Snow Village Inn by phone,,,, no one would answer. We checked the FB page nothing on that so off we went to have our meal. When we got there, their driveway was not plowed, was not drivable, no signage saying they were closed but no signs of life at the place. So here we are sitting at home with grilled cheese and soup. It will be a Thanksgiving we'll never forget. Sadly no one from that establishment called to say there will be no Thanksgiving Dinner this year????

Not what we expected

While the property is beautiful, the rooms need some updating.
We learned upon arriving that the inn has new owners-and while they were friendly and welcoming, we feel we did not receive things that we thought were included. When I booked back in April, the email stated warm cookies would be waiting to welcome us. That didn’t happen. It was also written that breakfast was included-including a warm entree. I had read the glowing reviews of the breakfasts and that was one reason I chose this place! So our stay was a bit disappointing when the breakfast was bad store bought muffins, croissants and fruit.

We booked this based on the many positiv reviews but unfortunately was disappointed.

Rooms are old but cozy. Likely in a nice area but a bit a bit remote.
The water supply cut out during the morning but came back after 20 minutes. Luckily we were not under the shower.
Breakfast was non-existing. A few croissants, fruit and coffee and nothing else. Super disappointed.
The restaurant was closed.
Apparently the owners had left for a long weekend leaving the operations to minimum.
We were so looking forward for this stay but was very disappointed

The property was really beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains and fall foliage. The outdoor area was very “romantic movie-like” which was a lovely experience. The hotel was well heated, and the room we got was very cozy and clean. Some of the appliances (like a small fan in assuming is used in the summer?) were outdated, but it wasn’t that much of an issue. The area is very safe, although at night we had some issues with a very large wasp, a beetle, and a wolf spider in our room, and there wasn’t anyone around to help us. Also, they do not have bug spray as we found out the next morning, so if you’re not into bugs bring some with you just in case. Also, we ordered a fruit basket to celebrate an anniversary and some details were missed (mis-written card, some wrong items). Finally, we thought we booked a different room from the one we thought we booked from the Expedia pictures. None of these details were a big issue, and we had a really great experience overall, but these are just some small overlooked things that could be improved. :)
