Beautifully located country hotel directly on the Franconian Saale
Friendly staff - the room with a (balcony) view of the peacefully flowing river. Pure relaxation! Everything was sparkling clean and perfect.
The restaurant with outdoor tables: good service - the food was great - and....Kreuzberg monastery beer on tap!! (if that means anything to you) - I would give it three Michelau stars ;-) Sumptuous breakfast buffet.....
And a very good price-performance ratio... probably also popular with cycling tourists.
Would like to come back: perhaps for a canoe tour from Hammelburg to Gemünden? We'll see, maybe only as far as Michelau...

Viel Gegenwert für‘s Geld
Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Saaletalbahn gegenüber macht mit ihren Dieseltriebwagen viel Krach und das Haus ist insgesamt etwas hellhörig.
Das Zimmer war picobello sauber und gut eingerichtet.
Das Frühstücksbüffet war reichlich und gut; auf Nachfrage bekamen wir auch weichgekochte Eier.
