Confortable small hotel

Old hotel that could you some investment
Fortunately, everything is clean and tidy and the location is in the center of Bad Hersfeld.
Parking is very small and very often you'll have to leave your car on the main square, which is located 50m away from the hotel and is free during the night (18:00-8:00).

Good value for money, a good hotel with friendly staff at the heart of the city
I had a standard single room which is well equipped up to the standard of a three-star hotel in Germany. People with walking handicaps should kindly notice that the hotel has no lift and the bathroom is some stairs down, at least in the room I had. My room comes with a balcony even and it is very quiet during the day and at night, also well protected from the summer heat. There's a heat wave now in Germany.
The cleaning ladies come a bit too early in the morning (before 9 am on a weekend) for my liking. And the location of the breakfast buffet (the buffet itself is good, pretty much standard) should be improved: it's located in a pass-through area which may cause jams.
The restaurant offers great food and should not be missed even if you don't stay at the hotel. If you watch one performance in the afternoon and another one at night, you can be sure to make it on time here for your next show.
