How It Works
Deposit
If you want to hold a reservation after your initial booking, you may have to pay a deposit. The deposit is $50 per person. And the only approved form of payment is a credit card.

Name Changes
If you need to make name changes, simply go to the “Changes” tab on the Name Template and upload it again to the website. With Group Travel, you can make unlimited name changes up to 72 hours before your departure date.
Final Payment
You’ll receive a final payment due date when you book your trip. To make your final payment, you can call the Group Reservations desk prior to the due date. Acceptable payment methods for the final payment are credit cards and PayPal.
In the past, physical checks and money orders were accepted. But they aren’t anymore.

Baggage Fees
Southwest has a “Bags Fly Free” program. That means that your first 2 checked bags are free on all Southwest flights. The bags can’t exceed 50 pounds and 62 inches in total.
