Loved it !!!!

We started our Airstream Airbnb's in Fairhope Alabama about the same time Autocamp started and I always admired their dedication and it seems unlimited money , now I finally had the chance to stay in one and see how it compares . They have done so many things so right , the Airstream is custom built and it feels like it , the shower is amazing the bed very comfortable and it feels very private inside . I loved staying here ... the clubhouse is great too and I loved the trail ...wish it wouldn't have been perfect weather ....kudos to Autocamp for doing such a great job

Van Life Living

My girlfriend believes that when she retires in 5 years she will live in a van traveling the country, waking up in a different city every week. For Christmas I purchased a weekend stay here to help her live out her Van Life fantasy, and it did not disappoint!
We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and the Airstream was EXACTLY as we pictured it. Just enough room for the two of us with lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful landscape. The bed was so comfy we found it hard to get out of it every morning. Only negative is the lack of storage to place belongings and pantry items.
We stayed on a Friday-Monday and didn't feel the need to ever leave the property because of all of the activities it had on offer. Jesse and Ken were standouts at The Clubhouse, making us feel right at home and even taking one of our suggestions to dim the lights in the Clubhouse to give it a more relaxed feel instead of feeling like a cafeteria.
The food is probably the only negative there as it left much to be desired. We ordered chicken tenders and a cheese quesadilla thinking "how can you get that wrong" but the chicken tenders were flaccid and oily and the quesadilla dry and not very cheesy at all. We felt the menu should be more reflective of the vibe, which is lazy and communal and should offer items like cheese plates and flatbreads. Luckily we brought enough food to cook the rest of our meals for the weekend because we were not excited to eat from the clubhouse again.
It snowed during our stay which made the weekend feel even more magical.

Predatory and Dismissive Practices

I was initially excited to visit AutoCamp, especially with their new partnership with Hilton in 2024. However, my experience at AutoCamp Catskill was deeply disappointing due to the unethical and predatory practices of the General Manager, Cathy Johnson, and the lack of accountability for safety concerns.
During our stay, a significant safety issue arose when the bathroom window of the AirStream Cabin malfunctioned and broke. The latch mechanism failed while we were trying to open the window to air out the room, causing the pane to open unevenly and shatter. This breakage was a direct result of a faulty and jammed mechanism, not misuse or excessive force, as Cathy later claimed through email. Importantly, this is not an isolated incident—a previous guest reported a similar issue that was never resolved, which highlights a troubling pattern of neglect.
When we brought this concern to Cathy’s attention, we were met with dismissive and contradictory responses. Instead of addressing the safety issue, she accused us of intentionally breaking the window, despite having no evidence and not being present during the incident. Our attempts to provide photo evidence of the faulty mechanism were ignored, and she insisted the window had passed a quarterly safety check. This claim is particularly concerning given the unresolved complaint from a prior guest from the previous quarter, suggesting that such issues are ongoing and unaddressed.
Equally troubling was the lack of communication and accountability. We reached out multiple times via text, email, guest feedback, and ultimately escalated the issue to Hilton Guest Correspondence. Cathy responded only once and failed to engage further after receiving the photo evidence. This lack of engagement raises serious concerns about whether guest safety or satisfaction is a priority at this property.
The AirStream Cabin itself was aesthetically pleasing, but the lack of attention to safety and the predatory manner in which management handled this incident overshadowed any positives. It appears that their focus is more on extracting financial recovery from guests than ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay.
As a loyal Hilton member, I expect a standard of quality and care that was absent at AutoCamp Catskill. I strongly urge Hilton and AutoCamp to reevaluate the management practices at this location. Until changes are made to address guest safety concerns and foster ethical accountability, I cannot recommend this property to others.

Life Needs more Camp Sites

Emma and Logan were welcoming and remembered who I am from previous stays. I had my family ride alongside me while I worked and had a blast here at auto camp. I also had a few good words with the New overnight and he was very chill and cool to hang with while my kids played board games all night.

Unique idea Airstream without the work of moving it!

Unique idea! The Airstream was nice. The bathroom was large for an RV. Bedroom looked out on the woods, very scenic. Note, the only way to cook inside is a microwave and the refrigerator is a very small dorm size one. We brought a camp stove to use outside and that was more than fine. Each RV has an area outside to sit and relax and also a picnic table area to eat. Ours was very private and enjoyable. Note: the cost of wood to burn in the outside fire ring is very expensive in the camp. There are many much cheaper places to purchase wood within driving distance of the camp. Excellent location close to many trails for hiking. There is even a small trail on the property. Overall fine place to stay for the novelty. Once was probably enough but worth it (ps a little salty price wise…)

Very good location
