Wonderful birthday at the Coconut Inn

My wife, myself and our Havapoo (Finley) puppy spent two wonderful night at this cozy, quaint inn. As others have mentioned, the area took a huge hit during the last two hurricanes. The St. Pete Beach community are very proud people and are working extremely hard to bring this beautiful ‘old Florida’ town back to its original glory.
Our room at the Coconut Inn was the King Studio (room 7) located on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and well appointed and included everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was older and small but it worked for us. Maggie and Team were super fast at answering our inquiries and provided paramount service during our visit.
We had a terrace with two lounge chairs and a small bistro table and chairs.
As advertised, the inn provided brand new beach items (chairs, cart, umbrellas, balls, and fishing gear and bikes). We brought our own but certainly would have appreciated using these items if we didn’t. The beautiful beach was truly only a few steps away. So handy!
There was construction going on the first day we were there so we avoided going to the pool that day. The second day was quiet (no construction) so we spend an enjoyable afternoon at the pool. One of the highlights for us staying at the Coconut Inn was meeting and chatting with the other wonderful guests during our short stay. Finley made some good friends and managed to score some treats (bacon) from our neighbours. LOL.
Overall we had a great (short) time at this charming inn and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another visit.

Very nice and great location!

We enjoyed our 5-night stay at the Coconut Inn Pass-a-grille. The neighborhood is quaint and lively, despite the ravages of hurricane damage still keeping many businesses and residences closed. There was much construction being done at the Inn while we were there, since they had finally received their permits. We didn't spend much time during the day there for that reason, but the weather was nice and the beach is very close, so we spent most of our time there. We walked quite a bit around the neighborhood and shopped and dined in the local places that had opened. The Inn itself has very clean, small rooms. The bathroom is very small, my husband referred to it as the "Elf bathroom". But other than that, we were happy with the accommodations. The Pineapple suite we had has a very small balcony sitting outside the door. We usually got our breakfast and coffee at either Paradise Sweets or Paradise Grille and sat on the beach. I was happy to see all the other guests with dogs, as well as many dogs at Paradise Grille and at the dog beach.
Maggie and Dawn are very friendly and helpful, answering our questions and requests. Would love to visit again some day and hope the area continues to improve/recover quickly from the storms.

Wonderful Cozy Place

Great place just off the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The inn is close to several bars and restaurants. Nice rooms with a furnished kitchen, a patio or balcony, a pool, and a courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. If you go be sure to say "Hi" to Baxter.

Perfect little gem, perfect location

This little gem was just what my wife and I was looking for, we needed a room for one night because we just got off a cruise ship and our flight did not leave until the next day, I searched the week before and was able to book room number 9 for one night, Maggie was so nice and gracious. I will mentioned also the this town as the Tampa and Clearwater area suffered back to back hurricanes and the whole community suffered greatly. I was shocked that we would even be able to get a place at all. We definitely want to return in the future

Excellent stay at the Coconut Inn Pass-a-Grille, FL

Our 3 night stay at the Coconut Inn was exactly what we were hoping for. Peaceful, clean, nice pool, private, great value and great location across the street from the beach and a block from the quaint downtown shops and restaurants. Dawn was very accommodating and helpful with any requests we had. We used one of the small wagons to take the Inn's beach chairs and umbrella to the beach. We took a lap around town on the Inn's bicycles. I really appreciated the lack of fees that some other inns and lodgings tacked on the rate. We will be back next September!
