Overall value for money

Overall this stay was as expected. I had stayed in pod hotel in Bali and enjoyed it.. These pods were way cheaper built.
It was surprisingly comfy with good lighting and even with my luggage in with me still roomy. I'm 6 ft but still had room to stretch out.
Biggest annoyance was the sliding doors were so cheap and noisy. Everytime some one in room opened them it is loud.
Usb points are in need of update as the were very slow charging.
No lift in the building so if have heaps of luggage ask for lower floor.
Nice staff. Helpful. Little cafe on site does breakfast.
Good location central park close and subway stop 2 blocks away.

Staff were great! Rooms and shared places were clean. Definitely would recommend.
A few things I learned...they provide a towel but i wish i had packed a wash rag. The room pictures are accurate, but i still found them smaller than i had anticipated. And there isnt an elevator so make sure your bag is light enough to carry up a few flights!

Staying here was simple, quiet and clean. Staff were welcoming. I loved that there is a kitchen and I loved the quirky character of the place.

Three blocks from the subway station and across the street from Central Park. I've stayed in hostels all over the world and I would say this is a pretty great one. It's definitely a hostel...but the location is amazing.

I usually don’t like hostels but New York hotels were way out of budget. This hostel is the best I’ve ever been to, the staff were genuinely very chill and nice (especially Miguel), there’s privacy in the sleeping ‘pods’/beds, and it was very clean. The hostel is in a good location, right next to Central Park and a 7 min walk to the subway. Will definitely come back when I visit the big Apple again!!
