Great location, friendly and helpful staff. We had a “cosy” room but it was big and lovely bathroom. My only complaint would be lack of power points. To use the kettle or coffee maker you had to go under the dressing table to swap the plugs and same to use the hairdryer. It was clean and very comfortable and a bonus we didn’t know about was you can walk straight into Burghley house grounds from the hotel. The breakfast was included and excellent. We chose the full English but plenty of options. We didn’t eat there for dinner but the restaurant did seem busy. Would definitely stay there again

Fabulous restaurant

This is our 4th or 5th stay and this time we brought some friends with us who were equally impressed by the lovely rooms, most fabulous food and all really friendly staff! Great value too! We will definitely all be back again. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Super

Super cosy room as always. V comfy bed and everything else needed for a super visit.
Staff v friendly and helpful (needed to arrange an early breakfast on the Sunday and this was no problem)
Lovely supper in Millys on the Saturday night - love a Waitrose deal!
See you again soon.

Delightful stay.

The staff and rooms are always lovely and its easy and relaxing staying here.
The access into Burghley park is super, especially for those of us travelling with dogs.
The hotel is very dog friendly too.
The breakfast options are imaginative and delicious.

Best customer service

My daughter and I met in Stamford for a 1 night stay together, unfortunately she was not well and the staff went over and above to make everything ok for me, having supper on my own etc! Special mention for Rachel! Thank you! We will return and hopefully get to see more of Stamford next time!
