St Martins Lodge 2025 - Dr Morrison

A fantastic place to stay with very nice members of staff and will go above and beyond to help with adjustments to plans when they arise. I have stay at this location more than twice over the last three years.
I would recommend a wonderful place to stay and has parking included in stay price.

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff 10/10!!

Beautiful hotel and also very affordable. Booked the double room for one night. Room was spotless! Decor was fab. The guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. I arranged a late check out to 1pm, which was £20.
I then had an unexpected medical results call scheduled for 1pm which I needed privacy for, I phoned reception to ask if I could extend by 30 mins, they were very very kind and allowed me the extra time at no extra cost.
Thank you so much, if I come to Leicester again I would definitely stay again!

One of the best city hotels I’ve stayed in

Gorgeous hotel right in the city centre, this was an ideal location to explore Leicester. The rooms were faultless & spotless, with a safe secure car park located at the back of the property which made everything so easy. The staff were responsive, friendly and really helpful. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would stay there again in future.

Great stay-again

This was our second stay at St. Martins Lodge and the location is perfect for us as we wanted to visit the cathedral and the Richard lll visitor centre which could not be closer. The hotel offers parking in the room rate which is very reasonable and convenient. We upgraded our room this time to a king deluxe and it was well worth it. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and had a mini fridge, my husband said it is the best shower he has ever had in a hotel or B&B i.e. powerful, hot and roomy with gorgeous toiletries. Check-in was seamless and reception offered some useful information on places to eat that offered generous discounts on food. Our only small gripe is that our visit was in chilly February and the radiator was off in the room and being quite spacious it took quite a while to warm up to a comfortable temperature. That said, the common areas are very warm indeed.

Highly recommended independent hotel in lovely listed building

I really enjoy staying here whenever in leicester. Lively old listed building with modern and comfortable amenities. Comfortable bed and shower pressure fabulous. Nespresso machine, fridge etc all welcome as is the shortbread! Easy and efficient check in over the road. The lovely cafe as part of the st martins complex over the road too is a nice spot for breakfast coffee and pastry.
I would say my room on this stay 104 was a tad snug with the bathroom door opening on to the wardrobe space but it was perfectly fine for a one night stay. This room is at the front and close to the door used for guest exit and the opening and closing of that exit door and the lock release could be heard in the bedroom.
Bathroom size was excellent and the large towels and white company toiletries a bonus. I will be back again!
