Excellent location comfortable and affordable.

I arrived early on Saturday 26th November amid yet another unjustified and annoying rail strike.
I want just to leave my bag and return later.
I called the number at the door and was given instructions on how to gain access to the B&B and my room.
Everything was good, clean and comfortable.
There was a help yourself Comtinental Style Breakfast.
Allen well equipped bathroom with plenty of space.
The surrounding area has 3 big Supermarkets within a few minutes walk.
There is a very good selection of Bars and Restaurant in the area.
If you driving then parking is easy.
I could not find fault.
I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Where is my deposit??????

Booking was easy and so was the arrival. It would have been good value for money if they returned my £10 deposit. After several requests to them it is still in their account. I have seen at least one other review that makes the same complaint so BUYER BEWARE

No towels available anywhere in the building. Woke up at 5.30 by the neighbours arguing…the owner is a nice lady but the place needs freshening up.

Decent place in a calm neighbourhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Got the key via telephone advice of the owner and that worked without a hitch. The room was cleaned, sheets were changed and dishes done every day, which was nice. Can recommend without hesitation.

Cheap & Cheerful

When I arrived I had to make a phonecall in order to check in. Initially there was some confusion as the owner thought she'd rang me earlier on to ask me to go to their other hotel as they were overbooked. I however had received no such call and even if I had, it wouldn't have been convenient at all for me to have been moved. The confusion was however resolved and I was given clear detailed step by step instructions about how to gain access. I was pleasantly surprised by the room and shared bathroom; it was clean and spacious. The bed was was also super comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Now the breakfast; it was odd but I knew what to expect based on other reviews (paninis, jam, variety box of cereal, yoghurt, capri sun) but I was more than happy to embrace it. I was however disappointed to discover that the paninis seemed stale, and then I discovered that they were best before 2 days earlier. It was a let down at the end of a otherwise lovely 'overnight stay'.
