Great location and excellent hosts
Great location and would recommend to others. It can be noisy with others arriving but this wasn't for long and didn't bother us.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Thun
I stayed in room 4 which,for a single room,was very comfortable,spacious and shared a toilet/shower room.
I only went for breakfast on 3 occasions during my week's stay.(It was delicious)This was because it started at 8am and I was often setting off at dawn to catch early trains to explore the country.
I ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and really enjoyed my meal.I would recommend that you try it.
The staff were helpful.Please inform them of your arrival time as the reception is not manned 24 hours.As I was arriving mid afternoon, I was given the door security code and instructions that I would find the key at reception.Everything went very smoothly.The place is kept exceptionally clean and tidy.
The staff advised me that the WiFi signal in the rooms isn't very strong.I am pleased to say I didn't have too many issues and was able to use the internet in my room.
If I come back to this area I would like to stay here again.

Set in the heart of the Old City
It is situated exactly underneath the spires of the castle that dominates the skyline & could not be better located, & very little traffic uses this street just off the main square.
After a comfortable bed in my list of essentials is a good breakfast, & once again this hotel came up trumps!!!
Considering the prices of other hotels in Thun, this one has got to be the bargain of the century.........give it a try, I promise you won't regret it!
