Disappointed
I recently returned to Seda Hotel, having enjoyed my previous stays, and I was excited to experience it again. The hotel has always impressed me with its excellent food, friendly staff, and convenient location, making it a top choice
However, I was disappointed to find that new rules have been implemented that I find quite ridiculous and unreasonable. While I understand that hotels need to maintain certain standards for safety and comfort, some of these restrictions seem excessive and detract from the overall experience. After all, a hotel should be a place of relaxation and comfort not a source of frustration.
In summary,
I called the service center to asked for the lamp for table working area the response: "We'll send someone up shortly." Unfortunately, that never happened.
Overall, my experience so far has been less than satisfactory. The slow check-in process, unresponsive service, I’m starting to wonder if I made the right choice in booking this hotel.
Many hotels have dress codes, but it would have been helpful if they had communicated this policy more clearly upon check-in or in their welcome materials.
I asked to give me a reason why it not allowed to wear a sleep wear in a breakfast time
The response i received about being a "business type of hotel" seems vague and doesn’t really address my concerns. It would be reasonable to expect that guests should be able to enjoy breakfast in a relaxed manner, especially in the early morning when comfort is key.
I was quite taken aback by the dress code policy at this business hotel. While I can understand the need for appropriate attire during lunch or dinner hours, I find it unreasonable to enforce such rules during breakfast. Mornings are often a critical time for guests who have just woken up, and being asked to change before enjoying a meal feels not only ridiculous but also disrespectful. It was disappointing to experience this refusal first thing in the morning.I must express that I did not find it to be a true "business hotel" as they said.
Firstly, the check-in experience was quite chaotic. The lobby was overcrowded, with long lines and no proper designated waiting area for guests. This created an atmosphere that felt more like a bustling marketplace than a professional environment.
It’s definitely a bit contradictory to have a business hotel atmosphere while also having a pool area where guests are in swimwear. It can create a confusing vibe for guests who are trying to adhere to the dress code.
A true business hotel should ideally provide a professional environment, and enforcing a formal dress code for breakfast while guests are enjoying leisure activities nearby seems a bit out of place. I hope you reconsider your dress code policy to better align with the overall atmosphere of the property.
One of the reasons I initially fell in love with this hotel was the exceptional food. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a decline in quality recently, and the meals seem to be getting cheaper. My advice to management is to reconsider some of the policies in place; it’s important to evaluate how the hotel presents itself and ensure that the standards match the expectations set for guests. A hotel should prioritize convenience and comfort, especially given the price point.
