Awesome Condo
We stayed in condo 516, Tower 1. It was clearly recently renovated. Everything looked new and in great condition. The condo was better appointed than our own home in California and it had everything we could possibly need and more. The windows have been upgraded to dual-pane and really help with the noise from the Samba Resort next door.
The condo has a wonderful, unobstructed, ocean view, but that also means no protection from the sun in the morning. From about noon onward, the 2 balconies are shaded and great for barbecuing, drinks, and enjoying the wonderful views of the ocean and occasional whale or dolphin sighting.
The pools are amazing. The pool closest to the beach (actually, on the beach) is heated and is the perfect spot for watching the sunset.
NOTE OF CAUTION: Contrary to some reviews, this is not a hotel. This is a condo complex and each condo is individually owned, appointed, and maintained. Before you book, do your homework and make sure the place you are renting has the amenities you are looking for. If you book the cheapest condo, you will most likely be disappointed. Don't expect champagne for the price of beer.

Ok for a condo with beautiful beach
We rented a condo at this complex for a week through Airbnb. The building we stayed in was old with very narrow hallways. No lobby just an outdoor check in counter. Our room condo was on the 4th floor overlooking the parking lot which we knew going into it. The room definitely had seen better days, but we had mostly everything we needed. Before you stay at this property , make sure the condo you are renting has chairs that you can use down at the beach. As well check that you have an umbrella and enough towels. The very large pool is not heated so there were barely any people swimming. The lounge chairs fill up quickly so be down early to reserve yours. They are plastic- as hard as rock. The first day we were here we went to the Mega grocery store and bought cheap blowup water mattresses to put on these loungers. There are also a few tables and chairs to sit around the pool. You are not allowed to take these chairs down to the sand. The poolside restaurant has typical bar food, but was very reasonably priced and good quality. Happy hour from 2 to 4 served 2 for 1 margaritas for 105 pesos…. They were wicked! Other than the cold pool and the beautiful beach to walk on there are not really any other amenities at this facility

It was a beautiful apartment the only thing was that since of the lights were not working, especially in the bathrooms. Otherwise it was a great stay

DO NOT STAY HERE
The place smelt like sewage the owner had even cemented the floor drains. We had to cover all the other drains with plastic bags with water to seal out the sewage smell Everything vents to the hallways, including bathroom, vents, close, dryer, vent, hot water, heater vent natural gas, toxic environment I stayed in apartment 614 tower one worse than the lowest hotel I’ve ever ever been in chipped glasses hodgepodge of assorted, eating utensils pans that were so burnt the Teflon was peeling off. elevators were really slow and located at only one end of the hall 25 minute trip to the pool and back. Cable railings were broken. Would be very dangerous for a small child. We were charged a high rate very disappointed not much. You can do once you’re there had family coming, and one month planned my advice. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE

Property was clean and well maintained! Late check in was interesting since it was in the security gate. Wished the restaurant was open for longer hours.
