From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly friendly and always available to assist with any requests or questions we had. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or advise for a parking spot.Theu made our stay memorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and accommodating place to stay.

Mixed feelings

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. First, its location is excellent hidden away by the Duomo, but very quiet. The room was great with 2 double beds and ample space. And very comfortable. However, the bathroom space is very limited. Not only that it has a marble floor which is very slippery when wet and potentially dangerous. Although it was quite palatial, it somehow lacked character and felt 'cold' in ambience.

Unpleasant cancellation

In the past I had recommended staying at this hotel to customers/suppliers, a very particular hotel and different from the usual impersonal hotels.
I then booked again.
After some very cordial talks for the organization of the stay of my guests, a few days before arrival the initial conditions are changed.
During my phone call to find at least a compromise, the talks became decidedly less cordial, until I was forced to cancel the Reservation.
Too bad because the hotel is really very nice, unfortunately the hospitality is not up to scratch.

That's bad. There is no reception. Left on the street with 2 small children at night, after paying 270 for a pseudo 4 s.

We paid for the room regularly after 9 pm but having no reception no one answered and being in front of a closed door we read 2 phone numbers glued with schotch that we called. (The property boasts 4 stars... ) After more than an hour one of the numbers answered, we spoke with the employee who had asked her to send her payment made and booking number, she confirmed to see our Reservation also from them, but she did not allow us to enter the facility because she asked us now at 11 pm to access our checking account and also demonstrate with a screenshot that the money was subtracted from the account, because the payment message that happened successfully according to the employee was not enough. Siccone the bank had not yet reported, we could not send it and so we were now in the middle of the night on the street. Given that we booked in a structure that boasts 4 stars and to have 4 stars you have to guarantee 4-star services, one of them is 24h assistance, the poor employee said she can not do anything because the owner does not respond and therefore is afraid of losing her job. At midnight passara we found ourselves with 2 small children on the street and all the other hotels full since in Genoa there was the Mahmood concert. At 2am we found hotels. The morning owner did not apologize and only said she was sorry for "your misfortune", and wrote that we were refunded what we paid yesterday. After I wrote that sorry is not enough, she should apologize, the owner posted unlikely directions that we should have read and that there is no check-in after 22. Too bad we all know that before paying in these situations normally comes a warning before paying. On the site where we booked that was Italian, there was no notice, while the owner sent us a picture of an English site. After expressing our disappointment because it was not misfortune but sincerely a crazy experience, with tired children crying desperately, full hotels and after spending 270 euros for the room and staying for 2 hours under the door of the structure and poo in the middle of the street... we still wonder why the employee did not let us in... the tones of the property worsened going on staff. I saved everything. Criticism: 1. You have to walk almost a kilometer from the guarded parking lot in 40 degrees with suitcases and children and it is not fun. The area is not the best, under the door of the structure you drink and consume light drugs, you can not breathe for the cloud of reeds, it is not beautiful to show those scenes to minors. 2. You will never be sure you can use the room even if you have paid, do not have sufficient staff, do not respond to a 4 star, but not even 2. E 3. The property does not know how to deal with customers, if they had sincerely apologized, I would not even have written the review with all the facts, it is arrogance that in addition to the wrong immediately bothered me more. Kindness in the hotel industry should be ABC. You cannot tell parents that (after knocking on your door for 2 hours and after paying for the room), they find themselves on the street in the middle of the night with two small children what has been said. You can make mistakes but you cannot treat people this way. A hotelier who does not know how to admit the limits and errors of his structure will only worsen the ratings even without my review. I've read others, too, and I see we're on the line.

Not at all as advertised. It shows up as a 4 star hotel. Instead imagine an old short-term rental studio with a confusing check-in and zero assistance. No front desk, no person to help. We got in and there were 4 packets with 4 different room keys sitting on a desk. Which room was ours? No clue. There were no names on the packets. I tried calling the number listed multiple times but no answer. So we picked a random room. Our family who arrived several hours before us had the same experience. Did we get rooms we paid for? Who knows. The room is really old. Door to the hallway doesn't close all the way with a single questionable lock. Doors to the windows and bathroom also don't close all the way. Only shampoo in the shower (no soap), two single towels. The daytime high was only 70 but without AC the room was really warm and too warm for us to sleep well. Had I booked a short-term rental half the price I would have been OK with all of this. But I booked what I thought was a 4 start hotel. Really disappointed and wishing I had spent half the amount I paid.
