Such a surprise

Traditional little family-owned hotel. There's no real reception, you go and ask at the bar. Very helpful staff, big and clean room and delicious food. If you are in the corner I suggest to stay here, you won't regret!

Payment by creditcard

We were two persons and have to waite 40-45 min for our meal, one plate each only. When we should pay, we could not pay with creditcard, only cash, and we realized that a glas of 'vin de maison' costs 7.5 Euro.
Unable to pay with a creditcard is not something you would expect in a modern hotel/restaurant.

Happy with the inhospitable treatment

After being on the road for a day, we saw via Booking.com that there was still a room available for an overnight stay. Upon arrival, the receptionist, because I don't want to call her hostess, claimed that there was no room left. I told them that I could book via Booking.com. Suddenly the story was that the chef was not there??? But anyway, the room was there anyway.
When I asked where we could park the motorcycle, she referred to the public parking house behind the Sparkasse. I said that I would ask if my husband wanted to park his motorcycle there and would then come back with the answer. My husband agreed and I went back to confirm the room.
Then she told me she had no time for me and there was no room???? She was too busy with the terrace!!!
Later, after we had looked for another hotel that welcomed us hospitably, we read the reviews....
In the end we are glad that they were so inhospitable. We now have a nice hotel and had a lovely meal on the terrace opposite.

Nice hotel

We were accommodated in the main building. The reception was very good and we were able to get into the room early. Breakfast was sufficient. The room itself was a bit small and there was no closet in it, which we didn't need for one night.

gorgeous food

it was a lovely family meal, too hot in the room in the restaurant - no air conditioning, friendly confident staff in being able to understand our mix of english and german words. food well cooked and tasted great. looks out onto the beautiful market square.
